In lesson two you were introduced to a one octave pattern of the major scale. This pattern can be extended to cover two octaves, as illustrated in exercise 17.

This pattern can begin on any note of the 6th string which will be the root note of the scale. Use alternate picking. This exercise uses the A major scale.
Here is an exercise to help you become more familiar with the two octave major scale. Take it slowly at first and use alternate picking throughout.
