Open Position Exercises
The following exercises are based upon the open position slide scale in open E/D tuning. Pay careful attention to the common slides which are used in this position, and also some of the extra notes which can be used.
The first exercise uses the right hand damp with almost every note played.
The second exercise uses some open position octaves.
The third exercise uses an open E/D tuning turnaround.
