Thi book, Progressive Blues Harmonica Licks Volume One, provides
additional licks and solos for the harmonica student who is using
Progressive Blues Harmonica.
The licks and solos of this book are divided into Parts One through Four.
Part One contains the easiest licks and solos, and Part Four the most
difficult. A short description of the technical needs required by the licks and
solos in each part will be provided at the beginning of each part.
Although meant to be used as a supplement to Progressive Blues
Harmonica, this book may if necessary also be used by itself, as very brief
descriptions of the notation system and necessary instrumental techniques
will be presented on pages 5 through 13. However, this book is not meant to
provide a complete blues harmonica method by itself. To gain the most
benefit from this book, it should be used in conjunction with Progressive
Blues Harmonica.
If using this book in conjunction with Progressive Blues Harmonica, the
reader may go directly to the licks and solos of Part One now, on page 14.
Otherwise, continue on to the beginner’s technical information on the
following pages.
