The "Bare Bones Blues" utilizes only one beat of harmonica chord at the beginning of each guitar chord of a twelve bar blues chord structure. It is composed of far more silence than of sound, and thus requires great attention to timing.
The last bar of these twelve has an unusual use of timing, with the first and last beat of the bar silence. Practice it beforehand, in the form of Lick 4a.
