Scales

The two types of scales you will use in this book are the Major scale and the Blues scale.

The Major scale is a series of eight notes in alphabetical order that has the familiar sound Do Re Mi Fa So La Ti Do.

The interval sequence is always:

The Blues scale consists of the notes of the Major scale.(For more information on scales see Progressive Lead Guitar).
