Here is one more new chord you may find useful. It is called a 9sus chord. This chord is often used momentarily before resolving back to the 9th chord, as shown in example 145.

Here is a four bar riff using the 9sus chord. Once again, notice the use of call and response.
Here are some more riffs combining the Blues scale and chords. This next one uses chords only at the end. In the first measure, a double stop (two notes played together) is used to create a similar effect to a full chord.
This riff also makes use of double stops.
